Kirkbymoorside & District Camera Club meet in the market town of Kirkbymoorside on the edge of the beautiful North York Moors National Park.
The club meets at 19:30 on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, in the Moorside Bar & Club, Shaw Drive, Kirkbymoorside (previously The British Legion Club). The club season starts in September and runs throughout the year.

Members join for a variety of reasons and the club strives to meet the needs and interests of all.  As well as having a varied programme on normal club nights, the club runs a special interest group held on the 2nd Thursday
of each month (except July/August) and which meets at 19:30 at Wrelton Village Hall. At these meetings members share and review images and learn new camera and computer techniques.

Our members are involved in all types of photography: Print and Digital - both in colour and monochrome. You don't need sophisticated or specialised equipment to be a member of Kirkbymoorside Camera Club, one of the joys of the club is that it is not 'equipment orientated'.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly club where anyone with an interest in photography is made welcome, be they beginner or expert. The strength of our club is that we respect each other as individuals and value each other’s work accordingly.
We have a varied
programme of members’ evenings, talks and competitions, where all can and do join in.
